Welcome to Tungaru Press
Your Source for Local and Global News
Tungaru Press is a newly established, privately owned independent digital news platform dedicated to sharing trending stories, informative updates, and engaging content from Kiribati and around the world.
As a growing online news outlet, Tungaru Press aims to connect readers with the latest developments in local communities and international affairs, covering a wide range of topics, including current events, politics, entertainment, sports, technology, culture, and other stories that matter.
Our mission is simple: to inform, entertain, and connect people through news and storytelling.
Although we are just beginning our journey, we are committed to building a platform where readers can discover useful information, explore different perspectives, and stay connected with events happening both at home and abroad.
At Tungaru Press, we believe that news should be accessible, engaging, and meaningful to everyone. We aim to share stories that not only keep our audience informed but also celebrate our communities, highlight important issues, and encourage greater awareness of the world around us.
As an independent and privately owned platform, we hope to grow with the support of our readers while continuously improving the quality, accuracy, and relevance of the content we publish.
We recognise that building trust takes time, and we are committed to developing responsible publishing practices, acknowledging original news sources, and providing information that our readers can rely on.
